Meridith Musgrove, OD

Dr. Musgrove was raised in the Dallas Fort Worth area. She has extensive training optometry and post operative eye care. She is a certified Teleretina reader, and is one of only a handful of Optometrists nationwide qualified to interpret diabetic photos for level of retinopathy.

“I decided to pursue Optometry as a way to help a very wide audience of people in their everyday lives. Helping people keep their eyes healthy is very important to me because it allows patients to see their world in the best possible light. You only get one pair of eyes and I want to be there to help my patients manage their sight.”

Dr. Musgrove’s recent work with veterans included doing compensation and pension exams to determine timeline and probability of service connected injuries and conditions. She has also been responsible for pre and postoperative care for clinic patients including all emergency and after-hours calls for up to 40 patients a day.

Earlier work included refractive surgery (Lasik, PRK, and ICL) and cataract surgery (Crystalens, ReSTOR, and ReZoom), pre and postoperative care and health issues such as neuro-opthalmology, age related disorders and retinal diseases. Dr. Musgrove has also worked with different kinds of glaucoma.

Dr. Musgrove has experience with full scope optometric eye care including specialized contact lens fittings with topography, diabetic retinopathy co-management, and care of children and the elderly. She has extensive experience with Spanish speaking exams.

Dr. Musgrove is a distinguished speaker on eye health. She was nominated for Clinical Letters of Excellence in primary care, pediatrics and contact lens care. She is a volunteer doctor for children’s charities, such as the Prevent Blindness Organization, and is a Wish Grantor for the Make a Wish Foundation.
